Does anyone know a way to tell which direction the servos plug in? I just took out of packing and no direction. Only the bind hole has the extra futaba tab slot. None of the other holes have the little jr angle

I believe black or dark brown wire goes towards the back of the receiver, white or orange to the front.

Plug the servo in, if it doesn’t work rotate plug 180.
Or grab a meter and find out which end is common, that will be the - (negative) where the black/brown wire goes.

Is there a small “s” stamped in the side of the case for signal?

That is opposite from my spektrum rx.

The Futaba tab is on the signal wire side of the plug.

Are these slots for the polarizing fin for futaba servo plugs?
Or is this just an illusion in the photo?

Odd that Spektrum is opposite of JR. But if those are alignment slots and they are on the front side then my thoughts above should be correct.

Like Gus said, try one way and swap it it doesn't work.

Someone told me long ago that a ground trace around the outside perimeter is the normal design goal of PC boards. So if I'm guessing, I always see which pin is closer to the outer edge and pressume that to be negative.
