Primo, Mojo or Slick 46

I've got the plans to scratch build the mojo and primo, should I wait for Doug on the slick 46 or build one of the others?

I'm wrapping up the Alien Aircraft Raven right now, and have a Herr Pitts, Stevens Aero and Wild Fred's Wee38 sitting waiting to be built. After flying the Slick 360-35, I'm really liking the 3d profiles.

So far, from what I've seen from the Raven, it looks pretty good!

primo wing on mojo fuse lengthened 1" aft is my favorite setup, if I don't have a lamyak...

Would that apply to a 60 as well as 40 size?

What's a guy do? Template the Primo wing slot from Primo plan, place onto a Mojo fuse plan and then adjust the build to accommodate?

It certainly isn't a complaint, sparkplug! That's why I changed the thread title - there's much more to the thread than Zombie's SPAD.

Do remember I've mentioned that thread hijacking is a time honored tradition around here. :tu:

Thanks for the confirmation. I may have to consider this for a winter project if I can get clear of some old baggage.

I've got the CAD files and I use AutoCAD for a living.

I'd like to see this. Can you post the PDF's here or do you want to PM them directly or whatever? Thanks for the offer!

Yes, I'd be interested in pdfs. Thank you. Are you going to lengthen the fuse on them too?

I present to you, the Prijo. Primo wing on a Mojo airframe extended one inch to the aft. The radius on the top is the same extended 1".

Cool! Thank you! I do believe this could be my next build.

A couple questions for you Master Builders:

Seems to me someone mentioned that Staples etc can do full size print outs of these? So how do I be sure it gets scaled up to a 60 size from this PDF?

Am I wrong thinking a guy is going to want to move the rear servos up a bit so this can be balanced without adding weight to the nose? Thinking of trying to put a YS 110 in one of these 60 size. I know someone sitting on one in good shape that I may be able to get my hands on at some future date.

I don't know about staples, look for a print shop to print the drawings. There's a lot of garage engineers, architects and drafters that don't want to pay for a plotter.
