I'm a little bit worried about it being hard to see, but you can always add opaque covering later if you need to. :tu:

well...this is as far as I can take it this week. I decided to go with some CF gear servos instead of some standard tower pro one I had and they aren't here yet and I have to go out of town the rest of the week...Looking forward to getting back and getting this thing in the air.

Yeah, I totally copied yours! It has some CA fogging after gluing things in. I'm a little concerned about seeing it, I just crashed my four star 20 on the second day out. It was later in the evening, and I lost orientation of her when she dropped below the horizon. I think it stalled on the approach turn and she ended up upside-down when I did full up elevator to recover, she did a full loop into the ground.

Too cool, lol. Some people had a hard time with the clear covering. It never seemed to bother me. But if you have any trouble with orientation, you may end up putting something on the top or bottom to help.

Well this post will be as unexciting as can be. Just another bones pic. But, following the adage of "Pics or it didn't happen," here is evidence that Zombie has built his Slide 360-35 wing and rons.

And a pic of my set of those wonderful little blocks Doug turned us on to. Gobs I really like them and used them for the wing build. They have a permanent spot in my build tools.

Don't think there was a link just the suggestion to go to your local welding or fabrication shop and ask for scraps and have them cut them to length for you. I have a hole stack of them cut from 1" square bar stock and all are 2" long.

back home and the servos were here. Time to stuff it and fly!

You can really see where I smudged the sharpie on the bottom...If it flies as well as I hope I'll build a pretty one the next time this kit or a 40" - 45" kit comes along.

It's fine. Looking pretty won't make it fly better. Do give us a flight report, please. :tu:

Just took her out for the maiden flight, I ran three 1300's through her, and she didn't have any problems. I've got triple rates setup 50%, 80% , and 100%. The wind picked up a little at the end and she didn't have any problems at 50% crab walking in. She's definitely a floater. I've got an Emax 2215, 1180kv motor and she was taking off around 40% to 50%. I could fly her with about 40% throttle. She's very responsive with 100%. I am getting back into flying, so I fly conservatively, but I was able to practice knife edges

I had one close call when I was messing around with trying to harrier at a low altitude, but a quick throttle up pulled her out without any trouble; great flying plane for sure.

didn't get as much time on the bird as I was hoping, but all the surfaces are hooked up and working...Just need to put the wheels on, do some wire management, and balance with the battery. I also realized I used some cheap hinges from the stash and they aren't as smooth at the dubro ones--might clean that up a little. Then...I just need a nice day to try it out.

How do you like the dubro ones? I've been rocking the 1/2a robarts.
