Slick 360 UL 46”

Slick 360 UL 46”

Is there any interest in the Slick 360 UL 46”?
For those that are not familiar with this airplane let me fill you in. I had flown several 40 size profiles including the Burrito and Mojo. I always felt that the 40 size profiles were just loaded too heavy on the wing for my liking. I liked the way the Mojo 60 flew so much better, it was more floaty and forgiving due to the lighter wing loading. I knew the Wild Tiger was a lighter 40 size profile and I was lucky enough to get one. The Wild Tiger was much more to my liking that any other 40 size profile I had flown. It was after that that I decided to design my own profile and the Yak 55 UL was born. The Yak had a 44” WS and was under 3 lbs. it was not perfect but it was a success. I had Ian, Tarzan and some other great pilots fly it at Nash, I believe it was around 2014. I took their feedback and incorporated the changes into my next design which was the Slick 360 UL. The Slick has a 46” WS and weighs about 3 lbs. It won the design contest we had at Nash that year. I think everyone that has flown the Slick has really liked it. I know Ian never passes up a chance to fly mine when he is at Nash. It is my personal favorite and as long as I am flying I will have one. The Slick is not a high energy airplane but it excels at low and slow. It is a very forgiving airplane and will fly out of any bad situation. It will harrier at a crawl and almost hovers itself. Ian said it is like cheating.
Anyway, I am not trying to put on a sales pitch. I just want everyone aware of what a great 40 size profile this is. It is not for everyone as some like more of a high energy airplane. If you like low and slow and easy to fly the Slick might be the ticket.

My setup
Motor: Emax BL2820/07, this is no longer available but there are many other options. This one is 135 grams and 900kv.
ESC: ZTW Gecko 45, any good 45 amp will do.
Battery: 4s 2200
Prop: APC 12x6e
Servos: Spectrum A5030, my next one will have NXT 80 HV available at precision aerobatics.

I am running a 4s setup but a good 3s setup will work just as well. I know these have been flown on 3s. Wild Fred’s Lammy setup listed below should be perfect.

Ok, now that all that is out of the way, who wants one? :D

I flew WhtBronco's and its a great plane. Whatcha think the price point of it would be? Also I would be cool with a short kit if it makes it easier.

i use a 35-42 1250 on 3s 2200's, 12-6e prop on my 3 lb. lammy's. plenty power, not ballistic but there when you need it.

I will have pricing put together soon. I will probably be doing short kits for everything 40 size and up. It helps keep the cost down and saves me quite a bit of time. I will include all the cut parts, plans, tube, landing gear & maybe G10 control horns. You will just need to supply your own sticks and sheeting.
