Slick 360-35 Taking Orders 5/20 *SHIPPED*

PostPosted: Mon May 11, 2020 9:26 am

I am ready to take orders for the Slick 360-35 kits. This is the updated version which has some improvements to the airframe. Nothing has been changed that will affect the flight characteristics, just a bit easier to build and beefed up canopy area.

The kits will include all wood for the airframe (CNC cut parts & all sticks), carbon tube, main landing gear, tail skid & rolled plans. Kits will be $99.00 shipped anywhere in the USA.

I will take orders until next Monday 5/18/20 then I will order materials & get these going. Please PM me if you would like to order one.

Thanks,
Doug

Hello, Gus! Yup! I have once again dug my ass out of the ground to plague this place. And barring getting hit by a bus, or some such, you poor Fags are going to have to put up with me for a bit.

Hope you've been well.

Lol! Yes, I have no doubts. But see, I have to cover up the fact that I am basically clueless about all the electric airplane stuff, I have only glow shit to fly with, and my tight budget/time will not support buying and/or building into electric right now. All that and how much I really enjoy the sound of a well tuned 4-stroke when I hit the throttle.

I do have the bones of a Skeeter laying around here some place however.

Its not that bad really. You can source all the electronics for the slick from value hobbies for just over $50.

In all seriousness, thanks for this. I can see why electric is so popular, also the Slick in the 35. I could get in more flying time if I went this route. Little used football field is 3 blocks away. Could fly there most any time if electric.

That’s the real beauty of these little airplanes, fly almost anywhere anytime. Don’t let the size fool you though, this is one sweet flying slab!

I decided that I needed to get back into planes after a 10 year hiatus, so I'm flying an edge 540 profile epp in my small backyard. A 500mah battery gets me like four minutes full throttle. I have about three seconds in straight flight before I have to turn.

Meh. Straight flight is an overrated maneuver best left to the Pattern guys ... So good on you for your ability to do without it.
