Kits and plans

PostPosted: Thu Apr 30, 2020 7:35 am

I am getting getting geared up to start cutting some kits. I will also be printing plans for anyone that wants to scratch build.
Please reply here with what you would like to see kitted. At the moment I can kit my Slick 360 UL, Slick-35, Mojo’s & Primo’s.
Any designers out there that have designs you would allow me to kit please let me know.
I am always thinking about designing something new but we have a lot of great designs out there. At this point I would rather spend my time cutting rather than designing.
Things have really slowed down here over the past few years. Maybe kit availability will help get things going again?

Also have the plans for the 35" Cap I did based off of your Slick. It flew great. As well as I have plans for the 35" Giles but I have still not built it to see how it flys. Your welcome to both of them as well.

I hate to say it but after Richard's (WWRC) death the EE60 and SU29 and all the other Hazzbro designs aren't currently being kitted.

Once I have a complete list of everything available to kit, I will do a poll to see what everyone wants.

I've always wanted one of those 20cc/60" Hazzbro birds, either EE60 or the Su29 :)

Doug - I'm a Pattern flyer who is new to the Profile and fun fly designs. I have just started a scratch built Slick 360 and would like one of your kits as soon as they are available. I am not familiar with the other mentioned designs. Therefore could you post pictures of what they are including stats for them and recommended motors (more specifically electric motors) if at all possible?
I have ordered plans for a "HOVER FLY" but not received them yet. I'm thinking that it might be an easy park flyer to build and fly at neighborhood schools. After I build and fly it, and it goes well, I'll contact the designer for youad see if he will allow it to be kitted.
Please add me to the list of folks who would like your kits. Grumpy

Most use fiberglass epoxy tubes for slab fuses. Carbon is too stiff. Not sure where you are located. Goodwinds.com has them, and if you happen to have a Tap Plastics store near by, they have them.

If you are looking for carbon wing tubes, sockets too, TNT landing gear.com used to be the go to :drink:

12mm carbon tube from Aloft Hobbies is damn close to a 1/2" tube if you want the carbon route.
