Shoot for around 16-18 ounces but the lighter the better. There is also lots of other setups you can run but that is the basic cheap setup from value hobbies. Get 3 or 4 batteries. You can run a 1300mah 3S lipo as well for a little longer flight time but at the cost of a heavier airframe.

Or one could just build a WF lamyak then you won’t need a gyro

it is the easiest plane to hoover/harrier out there. ask the man who owns one.
i think i was just 10-15 years ahead of my time. same with the foam construction, too much of a leap.

Do you have any build threads on here of a foam airframe? I’d like to lean more about it. Never tried it.

How much could be learned,a life time of good airframes, how to do foam, how to build light, how to build cheap. Would you buy it,i would with great thanks. A WF pro bro book, with extra trimmings. I got 40.00, how bout you. Not joking, help me talk him into it.
