It was 5.5 pounds rtf. I think the real problem with the setup before was the bec part of the CC ICE 100 esc. When I put it back together, I added an exterior bec that allows me to run 6 volts to the reciever and have a power switch. I also added a tail wheel. So, now with the extra wood, glue, bec, and tail wheel is weighs 5.75 pounds - still plenty light. I've read a few posts about concerns over battery space on the short nose. The ply gear mount is under the wing and an e-motor has to be mounted fairly far forward so the prop clears the nose. This leaves plenty of room to strap on any kind of lipo known. The plane is built so light, I would be more concerned the a glow motor would shake the plane apart. I probably won't have time to fly it until HoBro, so there will be quite a crowd to see if my repaired wing stays on . . .

The reflection of the silver board behind the plane  It's a typical stick built rudder covered with solid blue monocote.

Ashley will have her new video camera out to test out so maybe we'll get a nice flight video of it.

Just request that we hold off on the blender until we get a good idea how it flys. Later in HoBro we can test my repaired wing to see if it stays on . . .
