Pardon my ignorance here but. I've got several electric planes and basically connect things up as others have said is the way to do it. I'd like to know more about E Power. I bought a watt meter and it's helped me choose props etc. I'd like to get a battery checker. One that is adequate to check all battery values including resistance. Also is there one that checks under load like automotive batt checkers. Is there such a device available. Thanks in advance :drink:
As for checking the resistance, the iChargers I have can do that but I have barely use that function. Never found it useful since I always keep using batteries until I can tell they no longer have the balls to pull the load. You will be able to figure that out pretty quick when in the air you punch the throttle and it will no longer have the punch it used to.
This one from HobbyKong is my favorite general checker. For just checking each cell there's no buttons to push, it just shows all cell volts at once. If you want it to, it will blinky balance the cells to the same voltage.
