Use a flashlight to look for landing gear holes just in front of the LE wing at the bottom of the fuse. CG, start at the tub and adjust to your liking.
The plane has been rebuilt from tube forward, I have no holes to find ! I was hoping someone could give me a measurement from the tube to the bolt holes...
Hopefully when it was rebuilt, there were hard points added where the gear need to go. You don't want them too far forward or back. This is the RadYak I just finished and this is where and I would put the gear. The gear should be angled forward about five degrees. Put a piece of tape on the fuse, draw a line square to the bottom. Hold the gear up with one hole in front of the line, top hole behind.
Have that one too but never did anything since I didn't like how the ARF flew.
It did have some 1/4 pieces of plywood glued to the fuse when I got it.
I'll see if I can find the plans, unless Mo beats me again.
Come to find out its a yak sp55m, not a 54. The 54 did have removable wings like the 55 I believe...
