According to Hobby King, I am a Platinum Member. I don't know what that does for me, though. I'd rather be a Goldmember.

Platinum gets you a better price when after you've signed in.

I ordered some parts from HK over 2 weeks ago. They were in stock for immediate shipment. I received an e-mail from them saying that they were shipped 3 days ago by "registered air mail" and I should receive it in 6 - 39 days???

All of my orders from them have been timely. I sent a raply asking what the hold up in the original shipping was...

Still waiting for reply!

I ordered from Hobby King in January with the high dollar shipping. I have had good luck in the past, but this time was horrible. The package came into New York, went to Virginia, back to New York, and then back to Hong Kong. It never even made it into my state. I used the PayPal confirmed address, but best I can figure, HK left the state out of the address on the label.

I tried emailing them, but got no response. I tried a few evenings with the on-line help, but never moved up to the front of the queue. I tried the 1-800 number, but no answer or even an answering machine. The only way I was able to get them to respond was to file a complaint with PayPal.

Once they responded to the email, they denied for about a week that they received the package, although the Hong Kong Post tracking was showing it was delivered to them. Once they admitted that they got it, they wanted me to pay for the $19 shipping a second time. I filed a dispute with PayPal and got my money back, and ordered from Value Hobby.

Just hope that you never need Hobby King customer service.
