Paul,
The detail on your plane blows me away. Did you have to work under a magnifying glass?
Impressive!!!!

The office needs a couple items to make it really authentic.

1. couple scale mt beer cans and or a bottle of whiskey/holder
1. a few cigarette butts
1. field mud and boot prints
1. reading material
1. pic of girlfriend stuck to the dash... well you probably already thought of that stuff. :)

Really unreal detail Par. I hope you will have removable panels over the ammo boxes

Thanks for the comments.

Sloan........Didn't need the magnifying glass but working with 0 and 00 screws will make you a bit cross-eyed.

I do like the idea of a beer holder. :drink:

Where's the cup holder?

I love the scale details people put in planes. What really impresses me is when they go to the detail of weathering the details. The "wear and tear" details are the coolest....

Haven't really finalized the color scheme. There is a D-VIII on display in Fla. If I do that scheme it will be museum pristine. If not......time to scuff some paint.

You've got to figure that D-VIII was restored to it's condition,..... try and visualize what it looked like when it was in use :D

I think the "life" stuff is finally caught up. The wife's car is fixed, the kid graduated high school, he survived the state karate tournament , and all my repairs are done from HoBro.

Time to get back on it. Throttle quadrant in the works, should be the last of the office pieces.

Should have some more pics by the weekend. :D

I am now declaring the cockpit finished. All cables tied down and throttle quadrant added.

The quadrant does work so it may get tied to the on-off switch.
