Looking for a home for my DLE 55. Was considering the Talon F1-P, but the more I read, the less it appears to be a 3D plane.

Considering the OMP Edge Hybrid (out of stock :( ), but haven't built in a few years....err, decades?

Opinions? Suggestions? Cigars and/or Beer?? :)

I went through this same thing last year. It isn't a profile, but the Great Planes Reactor 1.60 is a great substitute. Flies really light and 3Ds great. Hard to beat for the price.

Wouldn't reccommend the Talon. I believe it's more of a sport flyer. The hybrid would be great, if you could find one.
Flying: GP Giant Reactor/DL-55, Fusion ARF / OS 1.20AX
In the Bones: SBach 55 / Saito 100
On the Bench: OMP Hybrid

Hmm, like both of those - maybe the Tunnel Vision a bit more. Have to find a few more photos of the TV though

Breckenridge Oatmeal Stout is en excellent beer. Padron Maduro is my favorite cigar. The OMP hybrid kits were in stock 2 days ago. Not now.

I didn't know the tunnel visions were still available. I hadn't seen one for 4 years.

I still have mine,it came in a little porky at 12.75 lbs.Not bad performance with a Moki 2.10 on a MCP,or better with a gasser.
There is a place i Florida that still sells them, thats where i got mine.i don't have a link but do a search and it will come up.

How does it compare to the OMP 80" Fusion? They are both ugly.

Went ahead and ordered one. He had only one left. I thought it was a good deal for $300 shipped.

I don't know what I am going to power it with yet. May e- :gay: it. I remember seeing one at the AMA show 3 or 4 years ago with an electric set-up. I think it has a big Astroflight motor on it. It was cost prohibitive at the time.

You heard correctly. Some guys modded it to other methods but the stock way is tape.
