I have one with the spring starter and a Pitts style muffler. I think the original muffler is still around here somewhere.
It has about 100 flights and hasn't been run in about 10 years.

I've been toying with idea of Jungmeister for quit a few years. I've noticed that many good pilots and builders have that plain, but I could never figure out why. Then I came across article that a real Jungmeister considered to be a "king of snap rolls" in barn storming aerobatics. Wings in a real plane weighs only 25lb, that is why it's snaps so well. Not many companies taking on building this classic model. One of the most famous(and jaw dropping) is from Italy $7 000 just for half scale metal airframe, and it runs on Moki 250cc five cylinder radial engine.

What planes are you going to use, Doug? Are you going to post pictures of that build, I'm very curious about this plane. :rockoncool:

There are some planes that are so ugly, they are beautiful. The AD-1 Skyraider comes to mind. Pure ugly beauty!

But, I never did like the lines of the Jungmeister airframe.

that's what i always thought about the mohawk... most grumman stuff, for that matter. a rugged functionality in most of their stuff.

someone really needs to do a grumman carrier bipe as a slab. what a fuse! k.e. loop city! i'd post a pic, but can't. search grumman biplane, you'll see what i mean. a few even have a good slab rudder.
