If I understand Mike correctly in his post above you cant get any omp kits. This particular kit has been discontinued for a couple of years.

Ok, call me stupid, but I didn't find any plans links on OMP website.

Could you post it here, please? :D

They must have different rules for different planes. I've asked for a set of plans for the hybrid and was told they don't sell plans. Maybe it's just for the Ulti?

I guess Mike will just have to stamp out a few of these kits to satisfy the pent up demand then.

My comments had nothing to do with the plane. I was  ing again 'cause Mike is fortunate enough to fly here.

In the pic that's in the link Chumley gave, there's one of the hangars in the background.

Last I heard from Mike, ALL kits might be discontinued unless he finds someone to take over production. He said he doesn't have the time to devote to kit production any more.

Do they really have an R/C field at WPAFB? I "fly" there on G5 sim, but I thought it was just part of the sim only.

Yes we actually fly on Wright Field directly behind the Air Force Museum. The base club has been there for close to 40 years now and was founded by the likes of Don Lowe and Dick Rutan (brother of Burt Rutan). Yes this is all true. Dick was actually in the Air Force way back then and Don Lowe worked on RPVs decades ago at Wright-Patterson AFB. We fly at the same site as the annual DOGS giant scale show. ANd guess waht! They just repaved the entire 1.4 mile long runway with two layers of new asphalt. It is so smooth you just want to taxi around!

As for kits and plans there is no link on the webpage for plans as we don't generally offer plans for sale. This is simply because the plans are for the production kits which include laser parts. The outlines of the laser parts are obviously not on the plans so it would be hard to scratch build from the plans unless you have experience scratching out parts. I'm still looking for a cheap laser cutter as costs have gone up enough that kit prices will have to go up and quite honestly people bitch too much already about kit prices. Isn't Obama doing a wonderful job with our economy? NOT!

don't matter to me if costs are reasonable and quality is good. I've generally found laser cutting to be much more accurate for intricate parts though.
