That said I use my big band saw more than anything. It's so much easier to cut straight lines and just cut in general. The scroll saw only gets used for inside cuts since I got the big band saw. Whatever scroll saw you get make sure the top end of the blade is quick attach.

New saws usually have the worst blade guides. if they are used there is at least a chance they have been upgraded. the place I work bought a new $30K bandsaw and the guides were shit had to replace them with better made ones right from the start.

I'm not sure if they make an up-great to "elcheapo" 3385 Skill band saw blade guide. At least after a quick search I could not find any. I also picked up Bosch thin(scroll saw) type blade that fits my band saw yesterday.

Just an update. Got an old Craftsman scroll saw, that frankly I like better then a new one they sell in a store now. I'm not sure what year it was made, but I do like a feature that cutting table tilts both direction, since motor sits under the table(most saws motor are on the side, hence tilting only one direction), and it have a blade tension quick release, and variable speed. Payed $50 got it from Craigslist, that thing runs smooth like a Zinger sewing machine. Thank you all to pointing me in a right direction!
