DTC/CCP

So I was getting some cans together to send to a Bro who is about to get turnt out on some CCP love, and I was looking at these Dollar Tree cans(DTC).

Now I know some of you FAGs that have been playing with them just slide the silicon coupler over the lip, with some hairspray or as NitroJ would say "product" and zipties. But every time I look at that bottleneck and that little coupler I start thinking about everything I ever heard about prison sex.

And I got big assed manly man hands, I would destroy a can setting one up. So there has to be a better way for bulls in a China shop like me.

So I got to thinking while cleaning my garage and I looked at my combat cans that my club won't let me use.
IMAG0615.jpg
Combat cans

They are just a header pipe with the silicon coupler slid onto the pipe a bit further, the can screws onto the silicon and you slide it up the header till it's close and trim the tubing till it's in the butter zone.

Then I picked up one of the pieces of wing tube I have been using to make nipples at the mouth of the can to slide into the coupler and it hit me. What if I slid this little piece into the silicon, then screwed the can into that.

I have not tested this out yet in the air, seems everytime I fly my slide lately I need to fix the wing and tail. I will test it out next opportunity and give a report, but it holds very strongly.

You just learned that it's never best to be the first one to click on a random link posted on the Hood.
Normally I will wait untill someone else comments on it before clicking.

So I threw this $TC(dollar tree can) on my chinn yak, and maidened it today.
IMAG0989.jpg
$TC

Same setup as the conventional CCP- 9.25" around outside of bend on pipe to the end if tubing inside of can behind threads. Stinger is a 1/4" aluminum tubing(7/32" ID)

I got a piece of aluminum wing tubing cut to a 2" length with a scrap piece of silicon coupler screwed into neck just to the end if the threads in the $TC neck.

Minor tweaking on HSN and was up. Could not tell any difference on this can from the last CCP(sprite can or diet coke can). The neck threads held the silicon and aluminum tubing, no slippage.

I will be sending this can to Bone along with a coke can.
Will post video tomorrow, have to convert video file at work.

On a side note, was buying movie tickets last night for the wife and I(date night), and saw this chick,

I didn't take it, I left my tach on the shelf. But I really couldnt tell the difference. I should also weigh the chinn yak, it feels like it's a little fat(heavy) when I hold it, but didn't feel sluggish when I was up up and away.

After maiden and quick trim, gassed it up and took this.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5dvzKp ... ata_player

Nothing special but it don't lack for power and throttle is crisp and smooth.

I weighed it at 4#12oz. It's gonna be a bit heavier next time, got some fixin to do from a flight 4 flights from this one.

@Bone- cans in the mail Brotha.
