how many digits below the decimal does TP chargers do? The HV thing is a software patch, I just got an update email with my Graupner that download is ready for High Voltage batteries,
At IRCHA I had seen the factory Graupner pilots setting their lipos to a charge voltage of 4.21VDC instead of 4.20, I started doing this and even in my small packs I see them all come up to 4.20 across more cells more often than not.@ 4.20 I would rarely see 4.20 on cells.
Even though my graupner is a 7s 800w total two port charger, it is not that on 12VDC, its only a 300W by default when using 12VDC settings as shipped. Again I did not realize this until the factory pilots who had a 24vdc power supply, where then resetting the input voltage menu that would now allow the 800w.
So then this got me thinking 24VDC so I bought some 12vdc power supplies, isolated the DC side ground plane from case and then went and added an external DC ground to case that is easily removed if using multiples that are series together.
Then it got me to thinking the 110VAC plug in receptacle is really only good for 1500W then you would need a second alternate breaker supply circuit ,which is really not that practical within close proximity to secure, SO I guess 1500W is max if using 110VAC plug in receptacle.......
I was intrigued with those DC charger generators that someone posted in conjunction with a battery, got me thinking
