You probably could glue it if you wanted but then it would be difficult to replace if you ever bend it.

The wing tube is not normally glued in. If it works loose in the fuse from continuous violent maneuvers (read McDDD here) just wrap the tube with a piece of wax paper, coat the inside of the hole in the fuse with epoxy and assemble the wings. Put a piece of wax paper between the wing and fuse to keep from gluing the wing on. When the glue dries all will be tight again. If you dork it in hard enough to bend the tube, replacing it will be the least of your worries.

Thanks guys!

I like the mcDDD fix Ron, I wasn't sure if glow engine vibration would wear a "floating" tube.

Maybe my tube is not tight enough now? I can easily slide it in and even wiggle it a little. Giggity.

Is that bad?

Total weight with batteries/fuel should came out very close to 4 lbs.

The airplane should fly neutral balanced at 5 7/8” back from the wing leading edge measured at the wing root. This is 33% of the wing avg. chord.

The amount of right thrust will vary according to power system and propeller selected. Start with 2 deg and adjust accordingly after test flying.

I wish I had built my wing as one piece instead of doing the two piece wing. After about thirty flights, the wooden dowel vibrated enough to wear some wood away, causing wing incidence problems.

I repaired mine today.
